WELCOME TO ETHNIQUITIES

Ethniquities is a small family -run business. Myself and my husband have travelled various regions of India, and found ourselves falling in love with the people, the land and discovered a passion within ourselves for the embroideries of this land and of these people. I am a huge hoarder of these largely under-rated works of art. I consider it my quest to bring back as many complete cloths as I can find because more and more of these wonderful cloths are being cut up to meet the demand for the commercial patchwork market. I became a captive fan the moment my eyes first looked upon the wild colours and colour combinations used that I find so unique to India.

My passion for these wonderful embroideries has led myself and my husband Tony to lead a fascinating lifestyle as we hunt for these totally individual, and largely under-rated works of art. Wild varieties of colour combinations and embroidery stitches make these works unforgettable and totally unique. I hope you enjoy the following 'taste' of India.
